Learn to drive a Minibus with approved MiDAS training

The Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme, also known as MiDAS, is a nationally recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers. We put all of our employed and volunteer drivers through the course, and we ask for this qualification (or equivalent) when hiring out our minibuses to volunteer and not-for-profit groups

Standard MiDAS Training

An award winning, nationally recognised standard for minibus driver training, MiDAS is for those who drive a minibus on a voluntary, not-for-profit and/or on an occasional basis.

PATS – Passenger Assistant Training Scheme

PATS is a nationally recognised standard training scheme for those who take care of passengers, including bus and minibus drivers, passenger Assistants, care workers, teachers and taxi/private hire workers.

Accessible MiDAS Training

Accessible MiDAS is an extension of Standard MiDAS Training in enabling the delegate to safely transport passengers who either board and alight using a wheelchair, or travel in a wheelchair for the duration of the journey.

MiDAS Refresher Training

The purpose of our MiDAS refresher training is to inform candidates of any new information and changes in legislation. Candidates will receive refresher training on key skills.
